EWD-generated WebLink applications are started using a fixed URL structure that depends on your WebLink configuration and the web server you're using. For a default WebLink configuration on an IIS-based system:

http://myServer.com/scripts/mgwms32.dll?MGWLPN=serverName&MGWAPP=ewdwl&app=appName&page=pageName

eg:

http://myServer.com/scripts/mgwms32.dll?MGWLPN=LOCAL&MGWAPP=ewdwl&app=finance&page=login

For a default, CGI-based WebLink configuration on an Apache-based system:

http://myServer.com/cgi-bin/nph-mgwcgi.exe?MGWLPN=serverName&MGWAPP=ewdwl&app=appName&page=pageName

eg:

http://myServer.com/cgi-bin/nph-mgwcgi.exe?MGWLPN=LOCAL&MGWAPP=ewdwl&app=finance&page=login

Adjust the web server domain, WebLink URL signature and MGWLPN value according to your WebLink setup.

The EWD WebLink dispatch process uses the ^MGWAPP global which maps to the &MGWAPP name/value pair in the URL. The ^MGWAPP("ewdwl") global reference is automatically created for you by the EWD/WebLink configuration API ($$configureWebLink^%zewdAPI).
